To provide consumers with clearer information on the energy efficiency of products, currently classified in different scales (from A to G, from A +++ to D, etc.) and to improve compliance by producers and retailers, the European Commission proposes a revised energy labeling system.

With effect from 26 September 2015, European regulations require installation companies to generate energy labels for a combination of devices, the so-called system label (or package label). For this reason, Techniek Nederland, together with 2BA and ISSO (and a few wholesale companies), has taken the initiative to develop a system label calculator. With this calculator, the installer is quickly able to generate this label.

With the system label calculator you can determine the system label and then print and / or download it. This calculation tool uses the available product data in the 2BA database. Missing data can be entered manually. A supplier is obliged to show this label (early) with every price indication; in the showroom, in advertisements, on websites or in brochures. In addition, this must also be sent when issuing quotes.
Measures concerning individual products taken on the basis of these guidelines ensure that end users compare the efficiency of the composite installation. In addition, it also provides a level playing field for European companies.
